Systolio is a privacy-first health tracking application designed to help you log and monitor your blood pressure, blood sugar, heart rate, and BMI readings. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use Systolio.

Your Health Data

Data Storage

All data you enter into Systolio is stored locally on your device only. This includes:

• Health readings (blood pressure, blood sugar, heart rate, BMI)
• Medication information
• Personal settings (age, gender, height, weight)
• Notes and other information you enter

Data Storage Details:

• Your data is encrypted before being stored on your device
• The encryption key is stored securely using your device's built-in security features
• Your data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers
• If you uninstall the app, all data stored on your device will be deleted

What We Do NOT Collect

Systolio does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Your health readings
• Your medication information
• Your personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Your device location
• Any data that identifies you personally

Third-Party Services

Advertising

Systolio displays minimal, non-intrusive banner advertisements to support the free operation of the app. These advertisements are:

• Non-personalized — We do not use your health data for ad targeting
• Static banner ads only — No pop-ups, videos, or interactive ads
• Provided by advertising service providers (such as Google AdMob)

What Ad Services May Collect:

Advertising service providers may collect certain information automatically, such as:

• Device identifiers (such as advertising ID and device ID)
• IP address
• General device information (device type, operating system)
• Information about ad interactions

This information is collected by the advertising service provider according to their own privacy policies. We do not have access to or control over this data.

Opting Out:

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings:

• iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising > turn off Personalized Ads
• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > turn off Ad Personalization

Analytics

Systolio may use analytics services (such as Firebase Analytics) to understand how the app is used. Analytics services may collect:

• General usage information (such as which features are used)
• Device information (device type, operating system version)
• App performance information

Important: Analytics services do not collect your health data, personal information, or any data that identifies you. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymous.

Required Permissions

Systolio does not require any permissions to function. You can use all core features without granting any permissions.

Optional Permissions

Notifications (Optional):

• Systolio may request notification permission if you choose to enable medication reminders
• This permission is optional and only used for local reminders on your device
• You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings

Permissions We Never Request:

• Location
• Camera
• Microphone
• Contacts
• Photo library

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your health data with anyone. Your health data:

• Stays on your device
• Is never transmitted to our servers
• Is never shared with third parties
• Is never used for analytics or research
• Is never sold or monetized

Data Export

You can export your data at any time using the export features within the app. When you export data:

• The export is created on your device
• You choose how to share the exported file
• We do not have access to exported data
• You are responsible for the security of exported data once it leaves your device

Your Rights and Choices

Access to Your Data

You can view all your data at any time within the Systolio app. Since data is stored locally on your device, you have full access and control.

Deletion of Your Data

You can delete your data at any time:

• Delete individual readings: Use the delete option for specific readings
• Delete all data: Use the "Delete All Data" option in Settings
• Uninstall the app: Uninstalling Systolio will delete all data stored on your device

Important: Once data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. We recommend exporting your data before deletion if you want to preserve it.

Data Portability

You can export your data as CSV or PDF files at any time using the export features in the app. This allows you to:

• Back up your data
• Transfer data to another device
• Share data with healthcare providers

Data Security

We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your data, including encryption and access controls. However, no method of storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.

Children's Privacy

Systolio is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. For material changes, we will provide notice through the App before changes take effect.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised. Your continued use of Systolio after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
